    We are very pleased to announce that we will be holding the 3rd Annual Arcadia Innovation Summit!

    Arcadia Unified School District is pleased to announce our Keynote Speaker for the 3rd Annual 2017 Arcadia Innovation Summit:

    Jaime Casap is the Education Evangelist at Google. Jaime evangelizes the power and potential of technology and the web as enabling and supporting tools in pursuit of promoting inquiry-driven project-based learning models. Jaime collaborates with school systems, educational organizations, and leaders focused on building innovation and iteration into our education policies and practices. He speaks on education, technology, innovation, and generation z, at events around the world.

    In addition to his role at Google, Jaime serves on a number of boards for organizations focused on education, innovation, and equity.  Jaime is also an adjunct professor at Arizona State University, where he teaches classes on policy, innovation, and leadership.

The Arcadia Innovation Summit is a one day professional development opportunity, and best of all it is FREE!

Arcadia Unified School District invites you to attend our conference focused on exploring innovation in education.  Sessions will focus on three main areas including The Google Ecosystem (Using Chromebooks, Google Apps for Education, and Third Party Applications), Teaching in a 1:1 classroom, and other Innovation (i.e. Genius Hour, 3D Printing, Augmented Reality, Game Based Learning, Makerspace, Building your PLN etc.)

We are looking for presenters who are excited to share innovative information in one of our three focus areas:

  • Google Ecosystem (Google Apps for education, Chromebooks, Android Tablets, or third party applications)
  • Teaching in a 1:1 Classroom
  • Other Innovation (i.e. Genius Hour, 3D Printing, Augmented Reality, Game Based Learning, Makerspace, Building your PLN etc.)

Is the Arcadia Innovation Summit really free?

Yes, the Arcadia Innovation Summit is free.  It is a core belief of Arcadia Unified School District that professional development and collaboration among school districts is critical to our success.  We need to freely share information and not work in silos any longer!

Is there ample parking at the Arcadia Innovation Summit venue?

There will be plenty of onsite parking available for the Arcadia Innovation Summit.  There are two large parking lots accessible on El Monte Avenue off either Campus Drive or Duarte Rd, with additional street parking on Campus Drive.

What if I cannot make it and need to cancel my reservation?

Please email us at arcadiainnovationsummit@ausd.net if you are unable to attend.  We do have a limit on the number of participants we can accommodate, so by contacting us it may free up a spot on our waiting list to allow someone else to attend.
